Job descriptionTake responsibility for managing and coordinating the erection and installation of pre-engineered steel buildings.Supervising and directing the work of erection teams.Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with safety regulations.Create and maintain erection schedulesEnsure that all materials and equipment are available on-site when required.Read blueprints to determine the equipment needed for installation or repairInstall or repair elevator doors, cables, motors, and control systemsLocate malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and control systemsConnect electrical wiring to control panels and electric motorsUse test equipment, such as ammeters and voltmeters, to diagnose problemsAdjust counterweights, door mechanisms, and safety controlsTest newly installed equipment to ensure that it meets specificationsComply with safety regulations and building codesKeep service records of all maintenance and repair tasks
