Like many housewives in India, I dreamt of starting my own business venture. Being a graduate from SRCC (Shri Ram College of Commerce) and having a diploma in marketing, I believed in myself to achieve the humongous goals I was about to set for myself. I didnt have to look very far for inspiration, it was always right in front of me. My father-in-law, whos one of the biggest manufacturers of leatherette in India, motivated me to take the leap of faith. And there was this every existing passion for fashion apparel, which made the path even clearer for me. It wasnt long before I realized that with his help, I could provide handbags made with artificial leather to women all over the world. Being an avid shopper myself, I also wanted to ensure that theyre as affordable as possible, and feel just as premium as those made of natural leather. With the support of my exceptionally talented team, I founded IMARS in 2018.
