How can I use the services of PlacementIndia.com as an Employer?

Registration is an absolutely free service available to the employers at PlacementIndia.com. In order to use our services, the only prerequisite is to fill up the Employer Registration Form. Here we ask for some basic details about your organisation like postal address, year of establishment, type of company, and number of employees etc. These details are displayed with your company's job openings. However, we keep your postal address confidential and do not reveal it to the job seekers

Do I have to pay to register with PlacementIndia.com?

Not at all, it's absolutely free of cost.

Once registered, can I change my Email (Username) or Password?

In order to change your Email or Password, you need to first login to your folder. There, you will find a link by the name of "Change Username / Change Password" in the "Account Setings" section. There you can change your Email ID and Password as per your liking. However, the change of Email ID is permissible only if it has not been used by some other member.

When submitted the "Employer's Registration Form", I got an error message stating "You have already registered with us at this Email". Why?

This is due to the reason that there must be an existing member at PlacementIndia.com with the same Email ID; it could be you yourself or some other member. In any case, the only way out is to get registered with a different Email ID, which is unique.

Can I update my Company Profile? If so, how?

We provide you a personalized section at the site called "My Folder", where you can perform some common tasks related to your company, including updating your company profile. So, first login to your folder and click on the profile icon, there is a link by the name of "Company Profile". This will display a form wherein you can make desired changes to your company profile.

What is the use of accepting my company details?

The company profile you specify while registering with PlacementIndia.com is displayed with the Job Openings of your company. This not only improves the display of your jobs, but the job seekers also get an insight into your company profile and the growth prospect.

How can I login to My Folder, in case I Forgot My Password?

You cannot login to your folder until you key in the correct password. In case, you have forgotten your password, then you can retrieve the same using our "Forget Password" service. In order to proceed for the same, click "Forget Password" running at login page. There you'll be required to just provide us your Email ID with which you have registered at PlacementIndia.com, and your password will be mailed to your mailbox.

Due you retain the confidentiality of my contact information i.e. postal address, phone?

Of course yes. The contact information specified by you in the registration form remains confidential at PlacementIndia.com and is not displayed to the job seekers or other Employers / Recruiters. The job seekers can contact you at your Email ID by forwarding their resume against your job postings.

What are the various membership options available at PlacementIndia.com?

We can help you in your quest for appropriate job seekers for your jobs, you can go on to enroll for the Paid Membership, which will qualify you for an array of distinct additional services. Is it possible to extend my membership tenure, before the expiry date?

Yes, you can. In fact, the sooner you renew or upgrade your Paid Membership, the better it is for you. To accomplish the same, just click "Renew Membership Now!" link after logging into your folder. Fill in the Renew/Upgrade Paid Membership Form and remit to us the payable amount. In case you have renewed your membership before the expiry date, your renewed membership will be effective from the date of receiving your payment. Plus, the number of days left for expiry of your membership will be added to your renewed membership tenure. Moreover, your unused job posting limit and My Downloads limit will also be added to your new membership limit.

What benefits can I get, if I renew my Membership on time?

Incase you fail to renew your membership in time your services will be terminated. To make sure that you continue to be benefited by our distinct services, we advise you to get your membership renewed in time. To keep off the unwanted hassles, we send you the intimation mails regarding the same when your membership is at the verge of expiry.

What is your money back policy?

Incase you are not completely satisfied with our services and feel that the money you paid was not worth it, you can claim the full refund of the amount you paid within 3 days of availing the Paid Membership at PlacementIndiaIndia.com, and we shall pay you back the full amount. This service is available to first time Paid Members only.

Do you offer any discounts on membership from time to time?

No, we don't.

I have paid for the Paid Membership, but my account is still not activated. Why?

This can be only when we have not received your payment. The moment your payment is received your account will be activated from our side and your will be receiving an intimation mail regarding the same.

Increase My Downloads

What is the "Increase My Downloads" feature all about?

"My Downloads" feature allows you to download resumes along with the Email ID and complete contact information of job seekers to your mailbox. However, there is a limit to the maximum number of resumes you can download at PlacementIndia.com, as per your Paid Membership plan. So, in order to download more resumes than specified in your membership plan, you can increase your download limit by proceeding for "Increase My Downloads" service.

How long this increased limit will be available to me?

You can avail this increased downloads limit within your Paid Membership period only. That is, you can download resumes to your mailbox as long as you are our active Paid Member. But, in case, you renew your membership in time, then this limit will be carried forward to your new membership also and you will not loose anything. So, it's always better to renew your membership timely.

Can I avail this feature only once, within my membership tenure?

No, not at all. Rather you can opt for increasing your Resume Download Limit, as many times as you want, provided you are a Paid Member at PlacementIndia.com

I am not your Paid Member currently, but want to download some resumes to my mailbox. Can I go for this service?

No. You need to be our Paid Member in order to avail this service

Increase my Premium Jobs Limit

What is this feature all about?

The total number of premium Job Openings you can post at PlacementIndia.com depends on your Paid Membership plan. But, in case you want to post more premium jobs than permissible as per your Membership Plan, you can your Premium Job Limit at PlacementIndia.com.

How long this increased limit will be available to me?

You can avail the increased job-posting limit within your Paid Membership period only. That is, you can post jobs as per your increased job-posting limit, as long as you are our active Paid Member. But in case you renew your membership in time, then this limit will be carried forward to your new membership also and you will not loose anything. So, timely renewal of membership is always better for you.

Can I avail this feature only once within my membership tenure?

This is not so. Rather you can opt for increasing your Job Posting Limit as many times as you want to, provided that you are a Paid Member at PlacementIndia.com.

I am not your Paid Member currently, but want to avail this feature. Can I go for this service?

No. You need to be our Paid Member in order to avail this service.

Search Job Seekers Resume DataBase Access

How can I search for resumes at PlacementIndia.com?

You can use the link "FREE RESUME SEARCH" under "Recruiter's Zone" or you can login to My folder and use the link "Search Resume" under the tab "CANDIDATES".

What are the different types of resume searches you provide?

At Placement India, we provide you with the following options to search the required jobseekers:

  • Search Resume (By keyword, Location etc..)
  • Resume Id Search.

How can I use the Keyword field provided in the search form?

In this field, you can specify keywords like:

  • Qualification, Specific Degree, Job Description, Present Status, Skills, Industries, Designation, Expected Perks, Location (Postal Address) of the jobseeker and much more
  • The keywords allow you to cover certain other fields, which have not been specified in the search form of the job seekers.

Why am I not able to Filter My Search Result?

In order to conduct our filtered search or to contact job seekers, you need to be our Paid Member i.e. you must either have Paid Membership or Single Job Listing Package.

I remember the resume number of a jobseeker who had applied to my job, can I seen his/her resume on the basis of that resume number?

Yes, of course. On the Homepage of PlacementIndia.com, you will find a link by the name of "Resume Id Search" in the Recruiter/Employer My folder. Clicking on the link (under "CANDIDATES - Search Resume") will allow you to specify the resume number of the job seeker whose resume you want to see. Thus, you can see the detailed resume of any job seeker whose resume number is known to you.

How am I entitled to see the contact information of job seeker?

You can see the contact information of job seekers only after getting our Paid Membership.

Is there any limit to the number of queries I can send to the job seekers?

Unless the term of service you had subscribed for has expired, you can send as many queries as you want to

How can I contact the job seekers, or send a proposal to a job seekers while conducting search for job seekers?

If you are a paid member, you are allowed access to contact information of the job seekers, like phone number or Email ID, mentioned in their resumes. Using this information, you can proceed to contact them without any hassles. Apart from this, you can also send customised queries to the job seekers either in one go (from the classified resume display page) or you can contact each job seeker individually by seeing their detailed resume and using the Send Query link from there

Posting Job Openings

How important it is to furnish right particulars about the job while posting it?

Extremely important. In fact, the particulars you specify while posting a job determine the amount of response you get from the job seekers. Since job seekers are registered with specific categories, areas, designations etc., only those jobs are mailed to them, which meet the criteria specified by them. So make sure that you furnish the right particulars while posting a job.

Do I have to post jobs with the same Email ID?

No, it's certainly not mandatory. In fact, for the sake of your convenience in managing different jobs in different mailboxes, we allow you to post job openings with different Email IDs.

Do the jobs posted by me get activated immediately?

Once you are through with entering all the relevant details and click on the "submit" button, your job gets posted instantly and reach us for approval. Your posted job will be activated within 24 to 48 hrs only after prior approval from PlacementIndia team.

Having posted a job, can I make changes to it later?

Normally, the job seekers start responding immediately to the job posted by you, as they find the job suitable. Altering the job details later may render the job of no interest to them. They can consequently find themselves in an awkward situation. We therefore urge you to be careful at the time of posting a job. However, you can contact us regarding some inescapable changes, and we can then look into the matter.

Increase Query Forwarding Limit

What is the "Send Email" feature all about?

The total number of Email you can send to job seekers at PlacementIndia.com depends upon the Paid Membership plan you have opted for.

But, in order to contact more job seekers than specified in your Membership Plan, you can Increase your Send Email Limit at PlacementIndia.com. For this you have to Contact Us.

How long this increased limit will be available to me?

You can avail this increased Send Email limit within your Paid Membership period. That is, you can send email to job-seekers as long as you are our active Paid Member. If you have opted for Send Email Limit, during your Paid Membership tenure and goes for timely renewal of your membership (i.e. before the expiry of current one), then this limit will be retained and carry forwarded, as long as your membership is active. So, it's always better to renew your Paid Membership on time.

Can I avail this feature only once, within my membership tenure?

No, not at all. Rather you can opt for increasing your Send Email Limit, as many times as you want, provided you are a Paid Member at PlacementIndia.com.

I am not your Paid Member currently. But I have found some suitable candidtates for the vacant post in my company and would like to send my query to them. Can I go for this service?

No, You need to be our Paid Member in order to avail this service.
