CTR has evolved from the cherished objectives of our founder Late Mr. Pratap Kumar of manufacturing products considered as value for money and offering prompt After Sales Service. He strongly believed in technological leadership based on which he founded the first Transformer manufacturing company in India, the National Electrical Industries Ltd (NEI) in 1946. In 1952 the Crescent Iron and Steel Company was acquired producing castings and mild steel transformer tanks which enabled manufacture of motors, pumps and grinders, adding to the initial range of NEI products.
