Mechanical design with a focus on industrial robotic arms (collaborative robot) and SPM will be preferred.Manage product life cycles from design through production and deployment.Collaborate with world-class experts and teams on innovative mechanical design projects.Interface directly with machine shops and factories to ensure production specifications are met.Create detailed mechanical designs using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo).Oversee design, development, and commissioning of machine designs, including robotic arms and other machine elements.Perform detailed engineering calculations, conduct design reviews, and ensure adherence to DFX standards.Conduct structural and thermal analyses using tools such as SolidWorks Simulation and ANSYS.Design thermal systems and perform FEM stress and thermal analysis.Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal processes, Plastics, Injection molding, laser cutting and Welding.Ensure purchased part selection aligns with global standards and specifications, performing necessary calculations.Maintain adherence to industry standards including ISO, DIN, ANSI, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) practices.Ensure compliance with both Metric and Imperial Design Standards, performing stack-up analysis, fits, and tolerance evaluations.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Proven experience in mechanical design with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.Past experience in mechanical design with a focus on industrial robotic arms (collaborative robot) and SPM will be preferred.Proficiency in CAD design tools such as SolidWorks; SolidWorks Simulation and ANSYS experience is a plus.Hands-on experience in concept design, including the design of machine elements such as Gear, couplings, lead screws, and bearings.Strong knowledge of structural analysis (FEM stress analysis) and thermal analysis using CAD tool
