How Can I Manage All The Candidates For My Job Postings?

Managing the list of candidates can be one of the most challenging tasks for a recruiter, especially when you are handling a number of job openings. At PlacementIndia.Com, you have a user-friendly interface to manage all the candidates in a simple and effective manner.

  • Scroll the cursor to the ‘Candidates’ category on the top navigation bar. 
  • From the drop-down menu, click on ‘Manage Candidates’. You will be redirected to the ‘Manage Candidates’ page. 
  • Here, you can view all the candidates that have applied for the job, the candidates you’ve added, candidates whose resume you’ve downloaded from recommended job seekers from PI, and the candidates who’ve applied through the catalog website. 
  • You can search the candidates from your candidate database by typing in any keyword like the name of the candidate, job name, skill etc., to view the candidates relevant to that keyword.  
  • There are numerous filters on the left that can be used to get better results for managing the candidates. You can filter the candidates based on the candidate status (whether pending, confirmed, declined etc.), jobs that you’ve posted, groups that you’ve added, and candidate source (whether an applicant from PlacementIndia, self-added, resume downloaded, or candidate from catalog website). You can also add basic filters like annual salary, experience, qualification, and gender. 
  • You can send email or SMS to multiple candidates from this page. To do so, simply tick on the checkbox in front of the candidate and send email or SMS to those candidates. You can also send email to all the candidates on the page by checking the checkbox before the Email icon to select all the candidates. Choose whether you want to send email or SMS and press send. 
  • Next, to the candidate name, you can see the candidate’s email id, candidate source (whether they have applied, you’ve downloaded their resume, you’ve added their profile or they are from the catalog website) along with the date. You can also view two counters with the applied and pending status. 
    • Applied: These are the number of applied jobs show the number of jobs for which the particular candidate has applied.
    • Pending Status: These are the number of jobs for which you have not yet changed the status in the candidate profile section.
  • You can click on any candidate to view the ‘Candidate details’ page for viewing other details about the candidates and managing their candidate status. You need to use your ‘Contact Unlocks’ to view the contact details of the candidates who have applied for you job posting. While the details of candidates whose resume you have downloaded or have searched on Placementndia.Com are always open for viewing. Here, you can download resume, change candidate status, add comments, send SMS, send email, or check the interview schedule of the particular candidate.
  • You get unlimited Contact Unlock credits for your Premium jobs while the free members can avail 15 credits to unlock the details of 15 applicants.
  • Additionally, you can also add new candidates by clicking on the ‘Add Candidates’ icon on the top left of the page (next to Manage Candidate). This will redirect you to the ‘Add New Candidate’ page.
