How Can I Create Email Template?
On PlacementIndia, you can now create your personalized messages in the form of an email template. You can simply send these templates to the candidates or applicants to save time and energy.
- Scroll on the ‘Candidate’ category on the top navigation bar.
- From the drop-down, select ‘Manage Mail Templates’. You will be redirected to the ‘Add Email Templates’ page.
- On the left, you can add the template name and subject name for the email template that you’ll send to the candidates.
- Next, add your email id in the ‘From’ box. This is the email id from which the mail would be sent to the candidates.
- In the ‘Job Experience’ field, select the years and months of total experience that is required for this particular job posting.
- Also, add the CTC offered by the job that you are sending the candidate by selecting from the ‘Job CTC’. You can also add any other salary detail, if included for the job posting.
- In the ‘Job Location’, select the location for the job from the drop-down list of cities.
- In the ‘Add Message’ box, type the entire message that you want to send to your candidate with the customized email template.
- Once you’ve added everything, click on ‘Preview and Save’.
- On the right side of this page, you can manage the email templates that you have created till now.
- You can perform actions like deleting the template, editing the template, and previewing the existing template. Here’s what the icons beside the templates mean:
- Green Tick: If you are seeing a green tick along an email template you’ve created, it means that the template has been approved by the backend team of PlacementIndia.
- Blue Edit: By clicking on the blue edit icon, you can make edits on the template and then click on preview and save to save the edited template.
- Green Screen: The green icon with the screen sign denotes the preview option to view the template before sending it to the candidate.
