Job Title: YouTube Video Editor (CapCut)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled YouTube Video Editor with experience in CapCut to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing high-quality videos for YouTube, ensuring engaging and visually appealing content that aligns with our brand’s voice and resonates with our audience.

Responsibilities:

Edit videos for YouTube using CapCut, including trimming, arranging, and adding effects and transitions.

Enhance video quality with color grading, audio mixing, and sound effects.

Incorporate on-screen graphics, subtitles, and animations to enhance storytelling.

Collaborate with the content team to align on creative direction, style, and branding.

Ensure videos are optimized for YouTube (thumbnails, titles, descriptions) and stay updated with platform trends and best practices.

Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in CapCut, with a solid understanding of its tools and features.

Experience with video editing for YouTube or similar digital content platforms.

Strong storytelling abilities and a good eye for detail.

Ability to create engaging and shareable content that fits YouTube’s format.

Knowledge of social media trends, especially YouTube, and a passion for content creation.

Degree in Media, Film, Digital Arts, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; equivalent work experience will be considered.

Preferred Skills:

Basic graphic design skills for creating thumbnails.

Familiarity with video production workflows, including color correction and sound mixing.

Knowledge of YouTube SEO practices and analytics for content optimization.
