Receive Patients With Care And Communicate The Process Involved To Make The Patient Comfortable
Attend To Female Patients In Presence Of A Family Member Or A Female Staff (For Male Radiographers)
Check The Prescription And The Bill, To Ensure Correct Billing
Check Patient Readiness As Per Specific Requirement Of That X-Ray (Like Fasting, LMP Date For Female Patients)
Use Polite And Professional Language When Asking Patients For Medical History
Use Polite And Professional Language When Asking Patients To Remove Their Footwear, Change Of Clothes And For Removing Jewelry And Etc.
Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs
Position patient correctly for radiological procedures
Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
Develop, process, and select radiological film
Review and evaluate images to determine quality and if they need to be redone
Answer patient questions as they relate to the procedure
Operate within radiologic standards with care
Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
