Job Description for Workshop Supervisor

Designation: Workshop Supervisor

Work Experience: 1- 3 years of experience in supervising commercial vehicle workshop.

Desired Candidate Profile:

The candidate should have good knowledge about the Automobile industry, and Heavy Equipment's.

Required Candidate: Male Only.

Qualification: B-tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Purpose:

To supervise the service function and assist the Workshop Supervisor to implement plans and programs in order to achieve service targets in terms of revenue, profit and effective customer satisfaction index.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Candidate will be responsible for maximising customer satisfaction through quality repairs.

• Candidate will be for handling the customers.

• Man power handling & dispatching of duty.

• Good Customer relationship and Team handling.

• Creating Job Cards and Invoices.

• Ensure the sourcing of all the parts, spares & consumables required to complete the work.

• Offer technical inputs to the technicians, wherever required.

• Manage the quality of work done on multiple bays.

• Supervise the work of mechanics to ensure that the set workshop processes are followed so that the work flow, quality standards, profit and customer satisfaction index is maintained.

• Working knowledge of computers is a must.

Skills:

Candidate should have good knowledge in MS Office (Excel -Pivot Table and Formulas, Word)
