Get Me Rank (GMR) is looking for an experienced WordPress designer/developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a great understanding of current web design, graphic design and UX principles as well as the ability to execute those designs on the backend.

Develop and maintain responsive websites, mobile sites, landing pages, microsites and other interactive media from scratch using Wordpress, HTML, CSS/Sass, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP.

Understanding of PHP back-end development, MySQL would be a Plus.

Experience working designing integrating end-to-end e-commerce websites with Woocommerce, BigCommerce, & Shopify would be a Plus.

Adapt and modify existing WordPress themes, according to the client needs and goals.

Maintain a strong understanding of site functionality, architecture, purpose and flow.

Balance aesthetics and user experience while always considering the needs of the client and their intended audience throughout all web development projects.

Manage workflow and stay ahead of schedule on client projects and tasks.

Lead client-facing meetings, either in-person or over the phone.

Demonstrate an understanding of current and future web design and development trends.

Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.

Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.

Ability to convert comprehensive layout (psd) and wireframes into working HTML pages
