Responsibilities

Develop and maintain WordPress websites using best practices and industry standards.

Collaborate with designers and other developers to translate design concepts into functional websites.

Customise WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.

Implement and extend WooCommerce functionality to create effective e-commerce solutions.

Optimise website performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites.

Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects within established deadlines.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.

Proficient in custom theme development, including building themes from scratch and modifying existing themes.

Solid experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce website development.

Strong knowledge of Element or page builder for creating and customising website layouts.

Expertise in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Familiarity with responsive web design principles and mobile optimization techniques.

Understanding of SEO best practices and implementation in WordPress.

Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
