Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements and specifications.
Customize and configure existing WordPress themes and plugins to match project needs.
Ensure WordPress websites are optimized for speed, security, and scalability.
Integrate third-party APIs, services, and functionalities into WordPress websites.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and clients, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Troubleshoot and debug WordPress website issues, plugins, and theme-related problems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and security updates.
Maintain and update existing WordPress websites, ensuring they are compatible with the latest WordPress versions and adhere to coding standards.
Provide technical support and documentation for WordPress websites and custom solutions.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience.
In-depth knowledge of WordPress core functionality, themes, plugins, and best practices.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Experience with WordPress theme development using parent/child theme structures and WordPress coding standards.
Familiarity with WordPress hooks, filters, and APIs.
Understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with version control systems (., Git) and deployment processes.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
