Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Wood Painter/Polisher and Finisher to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wood finishing techniques, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to enhance the natural beauty of wood through painting, polishing, and finishing processes.

Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation: Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, filling cracks, and ensuring a smooth, clean surface for painting or finishing.

Painting and Staining: Apply paint, stain, or varnish to wood surfaces, ensuring even coverage and desired color or finish according to specifications.

Polishing and Buffing: Utilize polishing techniques to enhance the appearance of finished wood surfaces, achieving the desired shine and smoothness.

Finish Application: Apply protective finishes, such as lacquer, shellac, or polyurethane, to protect and enhance the wood's durability and appearance.

Quality Control: Inspect finished wood products for imperfections, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to design specifications.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean painting and finishing tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality and longevity.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in wood painting, polishing, and finishing, preferably in a furniture manufacturing or woodworking environment.

Skills: Proficiency in various wood finishing techniques, including painting, staining, polishing, and applying protective finishes.

Material Knowledge: Understanding of different types of wood and their reactions to various finishes, as well as knowledge of appropriate finishing materials for different applications.

Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail to achieve precise finishes and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Adaptability: Ability to work with various wood types, finishes, and project requirements, adapting to different specifications and deadlines.
