We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in Welding Fixture Design using UG NX software. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 6 years of experience in BIW (Body in White) Welding Fixture Design within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and design welding fixtures using UG NX software, ensuring adherence to project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, production, and quality assurance to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Conduct design reviews and make necessary modifications to optimize fixture designs for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Perform tolerance analysis, GD&T interpretation, and validation of fixture designs to meet quality and safety standards.
Support the implementation and testing of welding fixtures on the shop floor, providing technical assistance and troubleshooting as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in welding fixture design technology to enhance design processes and capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Proficiency in UG NX software for welding fixture design is mandatory.
Strong understanding of BIW (Body in White) welding processes and fixture design principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred.
