Job Description

Role & responsibility:

Create new websites from scratch on WordPress and Shopify platforms

Add features as needed for the project using the right themes, apps, and plugins

Create websites that are functionally high performing while also looking great

Create a website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs

Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling the website projects

Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Understand the business requirements of clients and suggest the right apps/ plugins to help achieve the business goals

Write code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as PHP, Liquid or JavaScript

Test sites and websites in different browsers and environments

Fix bugs in existing projects

Test new features thoroughly to ensure they perform they perform the correct task in all cases

Coordinate with designers, developers, and project managers for progress updates

Designing and developing front-end and back-end web architecture.

Managing cloud servers and databases.

Understand available and potential implementation techniques and propose the most appropriate approach.

Serve as a high-level technical resource for the team and assume responsibility for problem-solving.

Develop and manage project plans, ensure timelines are accurate and expectations are communicated and work with team members to understand problems, dependencies and project milestones.
