Job Brief:

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website. Web developer responsibilities include building our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.

Responsibilities:

a. Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as HTML, CSS, WordPress, and JavaScript b. Implementing and maintaining website content management systems c. Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure websites are functioning correctly d. Staying up-to-date with the latest web technologies and industry trends to ensure the website is current and secure e. Creating and managing databases for website functionality f. Ensuring website accessibility and security to protect sensitive data and user information g. Maintaining and updating existing websites h. Testing both new and current website and correcting potential errors that may arise Skills: a) A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices b) Knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development c) Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process Creative problem solving skills d) Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen e) Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
