Warehouse Worker Job Description

Position: Warehouse Worker

Location: Various locations in Poland

Salary: 5,500 – 7,000 PLN per month (depending on experience and employer)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving Goods: Accepting incoming shipments, inspecting and verifying the products against orders, and storing them appropriately.

Inventory Management: Keeping track of stock levels, organizing the warehouse, and ensuring products are easily accessible.

Order Picking: Picking products from the shelves as per customer orders, ensuring the correct items and quantities are chosen.

Packing Orders: Packaging items securely for shipment, labeling them with proper details, and preparing them for dispatch.

Loading/Unloading: Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods from delivery trucks.

Maintaining Safety Standards: Ensuring that safety guidelines are followed within the warehouse, using equipment properly, and reporting any hazards.

Cleaning and Organizing: Keeping the warehouse clean and orderly, maintaining storage spaces, and ensuring that materials are stored safely.

Operating Machinery: In some cases, operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery to move large items (if qualified).

Required Skills:

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods.

Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in order picking, packing, and inventory.

Basic Computer Skills: Using warehouse management software or scanning devices.

Teamwork: Ability to work well with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Communication: Understanding instructions and communicating effectively with supervisors and colleagues.

Problem-solving: Addressing issues that may arise in the workflow, such as missing or damaged items.

Qualifications:

No formal education required, but high school diploma or equivalent is often preferred.

Previous experience in warehouse work or logistics is a plus
