Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Storing Goods: Assist in unloading shipments and ensuring that goods are stored in appropriate locations within the warehouse.
Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate inventory by organizing and labeling stock, performing regular counts, and notifying supervisors of any discrepancies.
Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling customer requirements.
Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care and stored correctly.
Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by clearing aisles, disposing of waste materials, and ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition.
Assist with Stock Movement: Move goods and materials within the warehouse as needed, ensuring they are ready for distribution or further processing.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any unsafe conditions or accidents immediately to supervisors.
Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or hand trucks to assist in moving and storing products.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
