VMWare+Windows+Backup - Manager

• Perform upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages (. VDI components, Windows services, or other enterprise apps) as necessary

• Installation, Configuration, Administration and Upgrade Windows OS , ESX-host

• Performing backups, troubleshooting and problem resolution for servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure.

• Maintain, upgrade, and implement improvements to the VMWare ESXi infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience on CIS OS hardening

• Performs technical analysis, installation, maintenance and modification of operating system software.

• Troubleshoots and resolves problems and monitors system performance while simultaneously support staff engaged in similar efforts

• Design, develop and maintain automation of VMWARE infrastructure management.

• Design installation, management and routine upgrades of VMWARE infrastructure.

• Design and develop operation procedures of VMWARE infrastructure for the team.

• Document the architecture and all procedures; prepare guidelines for other teams working with the platform. technical consultancy to DHL ITS customers to support an application on virtual platform

• Diagnosis of VMware performance and perform VMware performance tuning

• Review completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and make recommendations to management and/or clients

• Work independently and receive minimal guidance on work assignments.

• Schedules and perform VMware installations, patching and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established SLA and procedures.

• Analyze and execute VMware performance tuning strategies

• Excellent knowledge of clustering & high availability, Vmotion, DRS

• Good knowledge of external Disk Arrays, RAID levels, NFS

• Good knowledge of SAN architecture, multi-pathing, WWNs, iSCSI

• Excellent knowledge of networking – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT/PAT, VLANs
