VMC Operator Plus Programmer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Programmer plus Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating our VMC machine to produce high-quality precision components. Your expertise in CNC programming, machine operation, and attention to detail will be crucial to the success of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities :

-Utilize CAD/CAM software to create CNC programs for VMC machines based on engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements.

-Set up VMC machines, including tooling, fixtures, and workpieces, ensuring proper alignment and adherence to safety standards.

-Operate VMC machines to carry out machining operations such as milling, drilling, and tapping, while maintaining high-quality standards and production efficiency.

-Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance, part quality, and cycle times.

-Conduct routine maintenance on VMC machines, such as tool changes, coolant management, and cleaning, to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

-Perform inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications and make necessary adjustments.

-Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine performance, tool wear, and machining errors, implementing corrective actions to maintain productivity.

-Document and maintain accurate records of production activities, including CNC programs, setup sheets, tooling, and quality inspection reports.

-Adhere to safety guidelines and practices, promoting a safe working environment and reporting any potential hazards or incidents.
