Job Description

Set up and operate the VMC: Set up the machine to perform the required task, and operate it to produce the desired part

Read blueprints: Understand the specifications of the task by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings

Translate instructions: Translate the instructions into computer commands so the machine can perform the task

Prepare materials: Prepare and load the raw materials and parts onto the machine

Monitor the machine: Monitor the machine's operations to ensure the quality and precision of the parts

Perform maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the machine

Inspect parts: Inspect the finished parts to ensure they meet the specifications

Record data: Document and record production data and machine performance

Collaborate with teams: Work with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes

Adhere to safety protocols: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures
