A Video Editor with Photo Editing is responsible for creating, manipulating, and organizing digital video and photography content. They create and edit video clips, photos, and animations and are responsible for creating a visually appealing product. They work closely with the production team to ensure that the project meets the productions standards and expectations. Video Editors with Photo Editing are responsible for editing, compositing, and color correcting video and photography content. They also prepare video clips and photographs for audio/visual playback, and are responsible for creating special effects or compositing elements. Video Editors with Photo Editing must be knowledgeable of digital video and photography techniques and be familiar with a variety of software used to edit digital video and photography. They must also have excellent organizational skills and be able to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities: Editing video footage, sound recordings, and photographs Creating special effects and transitions Adding titles and graphics Using editing software to assemble and manipulate video content Editing footage in accordance with a directors vision Collaborating with producers and other editors to ensure the desired effect is achieved Maintaining a consistent style throughout all projects Reviewing and making changes to raw footage Staying up to date with the latest technology and techniques Working with sound technicians to ensure the sound quality is up to standard Skills: Expert knowledge of video editing and post-production software Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to take direction and collaborate with others Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills Strong understanding of video production processes
