Job Overview:
The Video Editing Intern will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos for social media platforms. The role will involve working closely with the marketing and creative teams to create engaging video content that aligns with the company's branding and message. The intern will contribute to the visual storytelling of our clients' projects and campaigns, helping to enhance their online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished videos that align with brand guidelines.
Create engaging and visually appealing videos for social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
Work closely with the marketing team to understand the goals and target audience for each video project.
Add effects, music, captions, and other enhancements to videos to improve their impact.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand their vision and incorporate feedback into final video products.
Maintain an organized library of video assets and ensure proper file management.
Stay up to date with the latest video editing trends and techniques to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Assist with video production from start to finish, including ideation, editing, and publishing.
Requirements:
Basic experience in video editing, with proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Familiarity with video formats, aspect ratios, and resolutions for various social media platforms.
Strong creativity and attention to detail in visual storytelling.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills and the ability to take feedback constructively.
A portfolio or sample videos demonstrating previous video editing work is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of motion graphics and animations is a plus.
