We are looking for an experienced, result-driven Senior Veterinary Surgeon. As a Senior

Veterinary Surgeon at our company, you will be expected to be tech-friendly, highly

communicative and extremely comfortable with handling small animals.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities would entail:

• Running a small animal veterinary facility with an in-patient ward, an outpatient ward, a

lab, an infirmary and lastly an operation theatre.

• Providing consultations, performing diagnosis, prescribing treatment, performing surgical

operations and even prescribing tests.

• Providing the final verdict for all the cases

• Supervising and training a junior veterinarian team of 3 junior vets.

• Heading and performing surgical operations – orthopedic surgeries, ophthalmology and

ocular procedures, Gynecology and genital surgeries, and all other basic veterinary

procedures and surgeries.

• Communicating effectively with the team in order to ensure continuity in care of patients

• Communicating promptly and effectively with clients regarding progress of hospitalized

patients and reporting of laboratory results

Knowledge and Skills Required

Degree: MVSc Veterinary Surgery

Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years

• Experienced and confident in small animal medicine and competent in most routine

surgical cases

• Priority will be given to candidates who have prior experience in working in a veterinary

hospital, experience in performing ultrasounds and above-mentioned procedures.
