We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vendor Manager to join our team at Rebuilt India. As a Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our network of vendors, ensuring the availability of high-quality sustainable products on our platform. Your role will involve working closely with vendors to optimize their performance, drive sales growth, and expand our product offerings.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with sustainable vendors who align with our mission and values.
2. Develop and implement vendor management strategies, including performance metrics, product quality standards, and pricing negotiations.
3. Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product management, to develop and execute vendor-related initiatives.
5. Act as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
6. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new product opportunities and potential vendor partnerships.
7. Negotiate pricing and terms of agreements with vendors to optimize margins and maintain a competitive pricing structure.
8. Continuously analyse vendor performance data and provide actionable insights to improve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
9. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulations related to sustainable and eco-friendly products.
10. Foster a collaborative and positive vendor community by organizing vendor meetings, workshops, and trainings.
