UX / UI Designer

We are looking for a UX designer with UI Front-End capability who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of mock up / wireframes to a user friendly design and finally convert to front end UI keeping in mind actual code that will produce visual and spontaneous elements of the application. A UX/UI designer is to deliver finished resources for the respective developer to incorporate into the app or web application.

Basic Skill Set

● UX Design / UI programming

● Interactive and user friendly Design

● Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

● Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

Job Responsibilities

● Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business analysts, product managers and engineers, designing graphic elements and building navigation components.

● Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

● Design for multiple platforms (web & mobile) with consistency and simplicity

● Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets

● Build page navigation buttons and search fields

● Develop UI mockups / prototypes that clearly illustrate how the application functions and looks.

● Create original graphic designs (. images, sketches and tables)

● Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

● Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (. responsiveness)

● Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

● Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images and should experiment with colors, effects, patterns, typography, icons etc.
