Responsibilities:
Create and deploy Dockerized applications
Migrate Dockerized apps to Kubernetes cluster
Design and manage Kubernetes clusters on multi-region cloud (GCP, Azure etc.) and in-house environments
Support troubleshooting and co-ordinate with Dev, QA and SRE teams on incidents and service outages
Create and manage CI/CD pipelines
Monitor applications and ensure they are able to meet SLA
Apply security best practices
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Experience in Agile development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
Experience with Cloud Platforms – 2 years
Experience in HAProxy or similar solution – 2 years
Debugging skills on API/Webapps built on Kotlin/Nodejs/Golang etc
Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus for release automations
Experience using Docker, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform or other infrastructure automation tools - 5 years DevOps experience
Knowledge of distributed frameworks like Hadoop, Mesos, Kubernetes
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multiple monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog, Nagios, Elasticsearch, etc)
Experience with Google Cloud Platform
Knowledge of service mesh frameworks like Istio
Good on automating with Bash/Python/Go Lang/Ruby
TCP/UDP, HTTP networking basics
Administration skills on Mysql, Cassandra, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ
