One Act built the AI-powered trusted marketplace PieceX - for buying and selling vetted and approved source code.

We are seeking a front-end web developer to join our team. As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for the user interface of our PieceX. Qualified candidates will be expected to have a working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript and a basic understanding of user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design.

Job Description:

The key responsibilities for front-end developer position includes:

Transform wireframe/mockup designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Create responsive/ adaptive website pages

Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.

Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.

Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.

Create Blog and Landing Pages using WordPress

On-site search engine optimization (SEO)

Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

The successful applicant:

Minimum of 2 years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap

Working knowledge of SEO principles

Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing

Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field

Excellent verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
