We are a well reputed metal handicraft business based in Pondicherry that specializes in creating high-quality metal deity lamps(Kamatchi Amman). We are looking for a skilled Turner to join our team and help us bring our unique designs to life.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate metalworking lathes to shape and form metal parts for our products.

Work with various metals (especially Brass) to create intricate and precise designs.

Follow design specifications and blueprints to meet production standards.

Ensure all parts are smooth, uniform, and meet the required quality specifications.

Inspect and measure workpieces to ensure accuracy and tolerance.

Collaborate with other craftsmen and artisans to ensure smooth workflow and quality output.

Maintain and clean tools and equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.

Adhere to safety protocols and quality control standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Turner or Metalworking Lathe Operator, ideally in a similar industry (handicrafts, metalworking, etc.).

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills.

Experience with different types of metals and finishes.

Knowledge of hand tools and finishing techniques.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a passion for craftsmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
