Travel Coordinator

Researches and compares available travel and hotel accommodations to identify the

best available option for each travel need.

When travel arrangements are within approved travel reasons and budget limits,

makes all arrangements and reservations as requested.

Prepares travel itineraries and distributes travel arrangements and schedules to all

appropriate staff.

Advises travellers with pertinent information and assists with any need for specialized

travel documents such as visas or passports

Monitors and facilitates the use of individual currency policies, govt. requirements,

frequent flyer programs, documentation and other applicable statutory requirements.

Other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage

Strong working knowledge of the travel industry.

Education and Experience:

High school Graduate/ Diploma or Degree in Travel & Tourism; IATA/UFTAA

certification an added advantage.

Previous training and experience with SABRE/Galileo/Amadeus or similar travel

software highly preferred
