Job Description: We are looking at hiring a Transport Officer to manage the operation and maintenance of the transport department of the institution including, coordination with vendors, equipment suppliers, mechanics and body repairers, etc.

Required Skills - The individual must have adequate knowledge of vehicles and must be well-versed with the tricks and techniques involved in the maintenance of vehicles. The individual must also possess good communication skills. Computer knowledge is preferable.

Responsibilities and Duties: The duties of the candidate will involve:

• Coordination of institute bus drivers & arrangement of vehicles as per the route plan and orders received.

• Monitor record and improve bus arrival and seat utilization in the bus.

• Look after the maintenance of the vehicles.

• Take care of updating & maintaining a record of the necessary documents for vehicles.

• Responsible for the preparation of appropriate and accurate route plan and responsibility distribution.

• Directing, optimizing, and coordinating full route cycle.

• Monitor the drivers and ensure the timely movement of the vehicles.
