Transport Manager For UAE

We are a trading company in the recycling industry established in UAE for over 30 years

We are looking for a Transportation Manager to handle our fleet of 60 vehicles (comprising of pickups, heavy trucks, saloon cars and forklift)

Job Description

- Obtain and maintain vehicle license and registrations

- Monitor fuel usage

- Negotiate prices with new and existing suppliers for spare parts, tyres, etc

- Review driver work and regular inspection of vehicles

-Maintain a vehicle log that shows a list of all company vehicles, mileage and other related information

- Direct involvement for scheduling and monitoring repairs and maintenance of vehicles

- Monitoring the transport costs and supporting the Management in controlling operating costs, wherever possible

- Arrangement of vehicle as per requirement of staff and Management

Key Competencies:

-Must have track record of 2-5 solid years’ experience

- UAE experience an added advantage

-With technical knowledge on vehicles

-Proficient with computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel

- Ability to work with top management and employees on all levels
