Trademark Oppositions, Revocations and other contested proceedings
Role and responsibilities:
?The candidate will assist attorneys in the clearance and prosecution of . and
foreign trademarks.
?Will be responsible for handling all aspects of trademark applications, including
filings with the USPTO performing preliminary trademark searches.
?Drafting assignment documents for recordation and meeting country specific
requirements, such as notarization and legalization of documents; drafting legal
correspondence assisting on due diligence reviews.
?Should have 1+ years of experience as a trademark paralegal
?knowledge of USPTO procedures, extensive experience in conducting trademark clearance searches and in . and foreign filings
?Proficiency in computerized docketing systems and MS Office
Skills:
?1+ years’ experience in a business/customer focused environment.
?Must possess analytical & problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail.
?Strong evaluative skills, critical thinking, and good judgment
?Ability to multi-task and balance priorities and shifting deadlines.
?Skilled and experienced in data entry work.
?Computer-savvy.
?Strong communication (oral and written), organizational and interpersonal skills.
?Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet).
?Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
?Fluent in English
