Job Description

1. The position requires a highly motivated, self starter , maintenance experienced in progressive tools.

2. Support Press shop production with tooling/technical problems (Online and off line tool correction).

3. Supports Production to manage and guarantee on time availability of tools to ensure continuous production and increase of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

4. Provide specialist technical advice support on all aspects of Tool maintenance.

5. Responsible to repair the Tools as per the daily Production Plan in priority wise.

6 Ensure the Effective and Efficient usage of Tool room machines.

7. Maximize the use of all resources, including TMS, Tool History and master List for tracking all tools for implementing a planned schedule of Tool maintenance.

8. Implement storage of tools to facilitate highest standards within the department for good housekeeping, health, safety and environmental.

9. Ensure all stock items, tool inserts and spares are organized as per the production requirement.

10. Oversee all work through the tool room efficiently and cost effectively and ensure that all target dates for tooling and tool repairing are met.

11. Responsible for manufacturing jigs and Fixtures to increase production efficiency.

12. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.

14. Evaluates work load and determines priorities within the tool room.

15. Trains and directs the activities of subordinate workers assigned to the tool room.

16. Coordinates tool room matters with other sections and with designated supervisors as required.

17. Maintains or supervises the maintenance of tool room records.

18. Ensure the department is operating as per quality system.

19. Responsible to take up any other task given by Management.
