HPDC Tool Design for Aluminum castings. Complete Die design in 3D using (Pro-E CREO) software. Creation of reference part & shrinkage addition according to material. Parting surface creation & all the required volumes for core pins & loose inserts. Core cavity extraction. Extraction of all the die parts. Runner & overflow design. Feature creation of all the die parts. Modeling & Drafting of all tool parts. Specify all the required tolerances & GD & T on the drawings. Prepare & Complete Mould-base Assembly in 3D in Pro_e as per concept layout. Slider assembly design & all other parts in mould-base. Bill of material of the die. Coordination with cross functional Mfg & Tool room teams to meet project targets. Responsible for completion of tool design for project in a committed timeframe. Responsible for implementation of product design changes in tool design& update the related data accordingly. Systematic data management in PDM software. Create 2D drawings (cast/machined) of the final design parts with appropriate GD&T. Work on customization of existing products to suit customer requirement. Support Operations for value analysis, cost reduction, customer complaints, etc. Developing the final error-free tool design for HPDC. Minimize design errors and provide clear and simple 2D & 3D models with all relevant information to MFG &Assembly. Analyze, interpret and establish design requirements based on information received and available data.
Qualification & Experience Required : Candidate should be Graduate with 3 – 6 years of experience in HPDC Die design. He/ she should be able to work in Pro_e Creo. He/ she should be BE/Diploma in mechanical Engg.(Any in tool design from IGTR or Indo-Germen tool room preferable) Candidate should have expertise in Advanced Excel, Solid works 2017, AutoCAD etc. Candidate should be able to generate ISO reports Candidate should be able to work effectively in diverse group of people.
