Position Summary:
The Tender Specialist is responsible for preparing and submitting bid proposals to win tenders with clients. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to pay close attention to detail. The Tender Specialist will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that all bid documents are accurate and up to date.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to gain a full understanding of their requirements.
• Research and analyze tender documents and related information related to the tender.
• Develop and write tender responses that clearly demonstrate how the company can meet the client’s needs.
• Work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that all tender documents are up to date and accurate.
• Monitor the progress of tender submissions and ensure that deadlines are met.
• Review and provide feedback on tender submissions from other departments.
• Track and report on trends and developments in the tender process.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all information is accurate.
• Ensure that all bids are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in preparing and submitting bid proposals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
