Responsibilities:
Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts.
Answer questions about products or the company.
Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.
Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed.
Enter and update customer information in the database.
Take and process orders in an accurate manner.
Work to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales via a minimum of 200 cold calls a day.
Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.
Accurately recording and processing details of customers’ purchase orders.
Managing customer accounts by ensuring that existing customers remain satisfied with company products and services.
Developing and sustaining solid relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Developing in-depth knowledge of customer products and services to make suitable recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences.
Requirements:
High school diploma. Bachelor's or associate degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field is preferred.
Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role.
Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone.
Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (., Microsoft Office) and telephone systems.
Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
Must be fluent in English, Hindi and preferably Marathi.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
