We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Telecalling Collection Agent to join our collections team. The successful candidate will be responsible for making calls to customers to collect overdue payments, negotiate payment plans, and resolve customer issues while maintaining a high level of professionalism and adherence to company policies.
Conduct outbound calls to customers for payment collection on overdue accounts.
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, keeping track of payments and outstanding debts.
Communicate with customers in a clear, empathetic, and persuasive manner to facilitate timely payment.
Negotiate payment terms, set up payment plans, and assist customers in understanding their obligations.
Document call interactions and update account information accurately in the company's database.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any disputes related to outstanding balances.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve monthly collection targets.
Follow up with customers as needed to ensure compliance with payment arrangements.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations related to debt collection.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum [X] years of experience in tele collections, customer service, or a similar field.
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
Ability to negotiate effectively and persuade customers to fulfill their payment obligations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections with professionalism.
Proficiency in using computer systems and collection software.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices is a plus.
Ability to manage stress, maintain a positive attitude, and meet collection targets.
