Roles and Responsibilities
• Should have hands on experience in working with Secondary steel detailing, Custom connection applications, Connections & marking plans.
• Should have experience in Client's drawings, geometry of structures, Model Management, Revision Controls and other trades.
• Hands on experience in Preparing Drawings, Editing, GA Creation, TQ / RFI Preparation and managing delivery schedules.
• Must be able to handle projects independently if required.
• Must be self-motivated to manage, coordinate and facilitate multiple initiatives in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Should be more Proficient in Tekla and sds2 tool in terms of modeling.
Study of input drawings received from client.
Applying Shears & Moments Connection.
• Modelling with respect to structural drawing & architectural drawings (where necessary).
• Template editing optional
• Modelling of steel for commercial & residential projects in multi-disciplinary environment including stairs, handrails & ladders.
• Supporting users for troubleshooting in issues that arise during modeling, GA & Assembly drawings.
• Making maximum use of Tekla library macro for connections.
• Can create or define customized joint using Tekla as per client requirement.
• Experience in generating and customizing 2D drawings including numbering, templates, layouts, CNC outputs, etc.
• Study of input drawings and rising technical queries regarding missed information to client.
• Generating reports of material list.
• Extracting BOM from Organizer, Checking the BOM for component and their quantities.
• Maintains a current working knowledge/ understanding of the latest version of the AISC Steel Construction Manual
