Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Support Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join our IT team. In this role, you will assist in the design, implementation, and support of our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.

Assist in network configuration, installation, and upgrades.

Collaborate with the IT team to implement network security measures.

Document network changes, configurations, and procedures.

Provide technical support to internal users and assist with network-related queries.

Participate in network performance monitoring and optimization.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

1-2 years of experience in network support or a related role.

Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and technologies (LAN, WAN, WLAN).

Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.

Basic understanding of network security practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent.

Experience with network devices from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet.

Knowledge of cloud networking solutions and services.
