Job Description

• Ownership of the academic performance of children

• Rigorous academic tracking of every child – tracking of academic performance at school and at Vidya & tifying quick corrective measure to improve performance of every child. This would include tracking of each learning unit in the assigned subjects.

• Development of assessments to evaluate the understanding of basic concepts at each level for building a strong academic foundation

• Development of content to improve the understanding of basic concepts at each level

• Development of Assessments to test the knowledge of every child – assessments of different difficulty levels need to be developed to cater to every child. Assessments have to be developed to test each learning unit within the topic being taught / assessed

• Collaboratively working with the school teachers for syllabus alignment and feedback to schools

• Suggest / conceptualize and implement innovative methods of building interest in subjects as well as making learning more effective

• Teachers have a greater responsibility of making academics interesting for children and also lead them to thinking that excelling in academics is important for making a good career. It is important that teachers make children dream bigger and higher and always work towards improving their academic performance.

• Administrative responsibilities like tabulation of attendance, helping in maintenance of discipline and handling of children issues, housekeeping and helping in events and excursions
