job Purpose

the System Engineer is Part of a Professional Services Team with Project Managers and Solution Architects and Together, the Team is Responsible for Deploying Solutions and Support Customers Both from the Office and Onsite. Most of the Work Will Be Done with Remote Access But There Will also Be Opportunities to Travel On-site to Customers.

competence Requirements | Technical Skills Required Essential

• linux, Ideally Red Hat or Centos

• sql, Preferably Working with Postgresql, Oracle, And/or Db2. Including Backup and High Availability Setups

• development in Python or Java, and Shell Scripting

• utilising Rest/soap Based Apis, Xml And/or Json

• networking Foundation/best Practices Desirable

• development in Perl, Go, Javascript

• web App Stack Architecture (ideally Apache/nginx)

• deployment/configuration Tools – Ansible Ideally
