Responsibilities:

1. System Security Design and Implementation:

Design and implement robust system security solutions tailored to the data center's needs.

Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.

2. Risk Assessment and Management:

Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing.

Implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks and vulnerabilities.

3. Security Monitoring and Incident Response:

Monitor system security for suspicious activity and potential threats.

Lead incident response efforts to contain and resolve security breaches.

4. Collaboration with IT Teams:

Work closely with other IT staff to ensure system security is integrated into all aspects of the IT infrastructure.

Provide guidance and support on security best practices.

5. Compliance and Audits:

Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.

Prepare for and participate in security audits.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of security incidents, changes, and updates.

Prepare and present regular security reports to management.

7. Training and Awareness:

Conduct security awareness training for staff.

Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
