Initiative had its humble beginning in the sit out of a sleepy residential neighbourhood of Pune. The proverbial problems are hidden opportunities adage and a fire in the belly were the only capital.

An error prone and troublesome bladder type dosing device was the first victim of Initiatives numerous Disruptive Innovations in India. It was replaced by Indias first hydraulic piston driven proportional dosing pump. This was quickly followed by another First in India viz multiport valves for filters, softners, 2 bed and mixed bed
demineralizers replacing 5-7 steel diaphragm/ball valves.
