Job Overview:

As a Group Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process. To plan, prioritize and co-ordinate the supply chain operations to ensure cost and service optimization.

You will work closely with various departments, including procurement, production, logistics, and sales, to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.

Critical experience:

Minimum 7+Years experience in Senior Supply Chain/Commercial role

Demand planning experience

Analytical skills

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Design:

Formulate strategies to optimize the organization's overall supply chain cost and service Develop sourcing plans to deliver lean and agile supply chain, risk mitigation and value

Design process and procedures for preferential procurement

Budgeting:

Plan and coordinate the activities related to the annual budget and monthly forecasting process

Logistics Management

Provide leadership direction in the development of distribution models and principles.

Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts.

Negotiate contracts with freight forwarder for all shipments.

Oversee the optimal usage of courier/Transportation service providers to ensure effective utilization

Ensure that stock levels are accurately reported at all times
