Job Responsibilities:

1. Carryout New Supplier Assessment as per company procedures from both Supplier Quality and Sourcing point of view.

2. Review supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities.

3. Day today Quality problem troubleshooting with suppliers�� processes at their end. Work to resolve supplier technical issues in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply

4. Proactively work suppliers to ensure Quality issues are addressed.

5. Travel to supplier locations to resolve quality problems

6. Collect historical data of Supplier Quality issue (last 12 months) and identify Quality issues and Suppliers.

7. Prepare Quality Issues Supplier wise and identify Suppliers for Improvement actions.

8. Sourcing activities: After sending RFQs, discuss with Suppliers and explain / clarify Technical issues to receive quotations

9. Work with Purchasing to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported and that appropriate and timely corrective actions are implemented

10. Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and customers to eliminate recurrence of non��conformances

11. Conduct, Maintain and update critical supplier audit system and schedule

12. Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement

13. Prepare PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) for all critical items to start with.

14. Raising NCR (Non Conformance Report) in case of non-conformance observed in the receipt or in line. Follow up for NCR closer with supplier.

15. Monthly Supplier PPM calculation & communication to supplier

16. Preparation & updating the Incoming Inspection plans.

17. Coordinating the incoming inspection activity.
