Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of Learning and Development SME – Mathematics or Science is to Design hands-on experiential learning modules for K-12 teachers both in Curricular and Co-Curricular modules such as teacher professional development module in Math or Science Pedagogy in Urdu.

Precisely identify the gaps in the teaching and learning processes at schools and develop appropriate tools, methods, and processes need to plug those gaps in order to improve learning outcomes.

Represent the organization at various levels of the education department and establish strong working relationship with the stakeholders.

Understand organizational vision, goals, and activities at the District, Block / Cluster and School level and plan the programs in the district accordingly.

Actively participate in design, planning, implementation, monitoring, review, and documentation of program activities.

Visit the field locations to interact with stakeholders at district and block level and also participate in meetings and reviews of the training programs implemented.

Facilitate relevant training sessions for the Teachers and education functionaries along with the other teams’ of CWC.

Collaborate with other teams in tasks like drafting, proof reading documents and reports using consistent and crisp language, support in the creation of storyboards for videos.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Proficiency in Urdu language is a requisite: Reading, Writing and Speaking

Strong Academic Background – . in Mathematics or Science / / M. Tech, . / . – Any specialization that provides enough skill in Science teaching- learning methods.

Knowledge of NCERT and DSERT curriculum, Math or Science Pedagogy

Creative and out-of-the-box thinking.

Good communication skills in Urdu, English and Kannada are preferable.

Basic knowledge of translation is essential.
