We are Seeking a Highly Motivated and Experienced Study Abroad Counselor to Join Our Team. as a Study Abroad Counselor, You Will Play a Pivotal Role in Assisting Students with Their Study Abroad Aspirations, Providing Guidance, Support, and Resources Throughout the Application and Preparation Process. You Will Be Responsible for Assessing Student Needs, Evaluating Program Options, and Facilitating a Smooth Transition for Students as They Embark On Their Study Abroad Journeys.

responsibilities

assess Students' Academic Requirements and Assist in Identifying Suitable Study Abroad Programs that Align with Their Academic and Career Goals.

advise Students On Program Selection, Course Equivalencies, Credit Transfer, and Academic Planning to Ensure a Seamless Transition Between Home and Host Institutions.

assist Students with the Application Process, Including Reviewing Application Materials, Providing Guidance On Personal Statements, and Ensuring Compliance with Program Deadlines.

requirements:

bachelor's Degree

previous Experience in Study Abroad Advising, International Education, or Related Roles.

in-depth Knowledge of Study Abroad Programs, Including Destinations, Academic Institutions, and Cultural Considerations.

strong Understanding of Academic Systems, Credit Transfer Processes, and Educational Requirements.

excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills, with the Ability to Effectively Engage with Students, Faculty, and Staff from Diverse Backgrounds.

exceptional Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail to Manage Multiple Student Cases Simultaneously.

proficient Computer Skills
