Job Description

Responsible for creating detailed drawings of building and infrastructure designs. They use computer-aided design software to create these drawings, which may include floor plans, elevations, sections, and other types of diagrams.

Structural drafters must be able to interpret the designs provided by architects or engineers and translate them into a format that can be easily read and understood by others. They also commonly work with contractors and construction crews to ensure that their drawings accurately reflect the current state of any ongoing projects
